They say security checkpoint is tough, but I've never had a problem at all. All they really look for is glass bottles and fireworks and what not...I've never had a trouble bringing in all the extra "supplies" needed. And once your in, anything goes

If you are nervous about it, anything you want can be found inside provided you aren't a sketchy undercover (look for the pairs of uncomfortable looking men in kaki shorts and tucked in collared shirts, they are hilarious!). Its harder to find stuff once you are in past the centeroo checkpoint where the bands play compared to the campgrounds. Go for a stroll in between shows down one of the main boulevards that isn't too close to centeroo, you will be amazed. Or just chill in your campsite and wait for one of the traveling merchants to come to you! There are so many of them you can afford to compare prices!

agree. the "security" at the front gate were college kids looking for glass bottles, fireworks, and firearms. getting "stuff" in was no problem. if you run out, you can always find "stuff."

also, get to Manchester early. the later in the day you get there, the longer in line you'll have to wait. we got there around 11 am and didn't actually get in until 2pm.

This year will be my 5th Roo and here's what you should keep in mind for security. When you first get there in your car, you will be asked (by the aforementioned college kids) if you have any glass bottles or fireworks. Just say no to anything, although they search cars randomly so it's best to just bring in cans. And Nitrous tanks are a big no-no, they generally aren't looking for anything else.

Getting into Centeroo is a little different cuz they search bags and don't alllow outside beverages, but I've always stuffed a few in my pockets and been fine. Very Happy

Stick that spliff in your pants next to Mr. Happy and you'll be good to go.
